Rebecca Knorr MAHons, RSHom, PCH

I first became interested in homeopathy in 1984 when I received homeopathic treatment for a skin condition which quickly improved. I soon joined homeopathy study groups in London and later in Edinburgh. Subsequently I gained an MA Hons in English Literature and Language at the University of Edinburgh and worked as a musician and music teacher.
In 1999, a friend introduced me to the work of Edward Whitmont, homeopath and Jungian analyst, and his book Psyche and Substance. This encounter reignited my interest in the study of homeopathy and I made the decision to become a practitioner. In 2000, I began studying for a diploma and graduated in 2005 from Misha Norland’s School of Homeopathy in Devon, recognised worldwide for its quality of training. The School has since moved to Stroud and celebrated its 40th year in 2021.

I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and am a graduate of Jeremy Sherr's Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies. In addition to Jeremy’s teachings, my approach is influenced by Jan Scholten, Rajan Sankaran, Louis Klein, Zach Bush, Charles Eisenstein and many other wonderful minds.
There is always more to learn in this ever expanding field, though the best teachers are my patients. Meditation, yoga, swimming, walking, reading and playing music are essential resources for me in my work. I am deeply inspired by the natural beauty of Scotland and feel profoundly that the future of humanity depends on our recognition that we are part of Nature and must work with it and understand its wisdom rather than try to dominate it. I feel fortunate to belong to a world wide community of homeopaths, whose wisdom and support sustains me.

I enjoy working with people of all ages, and have worked with children in both caring and teaching roles throughout my adult life. I feel privileged to be able to work closely with patients with the aim of supporting and enabling their full potential as the highest definition of health.
